Making Movies in the Classroom/teaching approach: Difference between revisions

This activity is a {{tag|cross curricula}} activity, involving a {{teachtag|collaboration|collaborative}} approach, giving children to opportunity to engage in {{teachtag|group work}} whilst making digital media in the form of films. The activity furthers {{topictag|e-skills}} and {{topictag|e-safety}}. The topic of {{topictag|e-safety}} provided a great stimulus for the {{tag|video}}. Equally, however, this approach could be applied to any topic or subject in school. The use of video also encourage {{teachtag|active learning}} as the portability of video recording equipment allows it to be used outside the classroom in a range of contexts.
