We would also like to thank members of the RECOUP teams. At the University of Cambridge, Professor Madeleine Arnot played a major role in initiating the training manual and this online version has benefited greatly from her insights and experience. She developed the session on semi-structured interviews (resources from which have been used in this online version) and we used some of her material for the session on data analysis. She also played a central role in three of the workshops. Dr. Shailaja Fennell was a key member of the team, especially in Ghana and Kenya; and Professor Christopher Colclough provided overall support and guidance. At the University of Edinburgh, Professor Patricia Jeffery helped particularly with the trainings carried out in India. Professor Martyn Rouse, who is now based at the University of Aberdeen was also actively involved in the initial training in India.
