Category for templates to create adaptations for localised content. These templates need adaptation if you add new countries.

The key templates are

  • Template:Local to add variants of text that displays depending on the page - see there for description.
  • Template:Includeparent - the template includes the text of the parent page, allowing localisations to be applied

There are some templates that use Template:Local to provide localised place names:

Template:Local (depending on the page name) either just displays the appropriate text, or (for master pages) uses

These templates in turn use Template:LocalisedContent to mark content as local content.
