This template is for applying categories within teaching approaches. E.g.
<nowiki>{{tag|sample category}}</nowiki>
produces this
{{tag|sample category}}
and places the page in [[:Category:Sample category]] which is linked from the "(i)".
 
If you want to tag a word with a category, but cannot use the exact name of the category in the flow of the text, then you can supply a second argument:
<nowiki>{{tag|sample category|some sample category}}</nowiki>
produces this
{{tag|sample category|some sample category}}

sample category(i) This template is for applying categories within teaching approaches. E.g.

{{tag|sample category}}

produces this

sample category(i)

and places the page in Category:Sample category which is linked from the "(i)".

If you want to tag a word with a category, but cannot use the exact name of the category in the flow of the text, then you can supply a second argument:

{{tag|sample category|some sample category}}

produces this

some sample category(i)
