General information about editing

This page at wikipedia has information about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:How_to_edit_a_page

Tips and Tricks

Note that you can strike through or underline text like this.

Note that you can use 'access keys' to speed up your editing. E.g. you can use ctrl-e to edit or ctrl-s to save. (The 'ctrl' depends on the browser and operating system, and may vary.)

http://www.wikieducator.org also offers wiki training, as well as a community of educational users of wiki technology.

Consult the User's Guide for information on using the wiki software.

You can 'sign' pages by using three '~', i.e. ~ ~ ~, which produces your user name (i.e. Bjoern). Or you can use four '~' to produce the user name and date (i.e. Bjoern 10:45, 21 August 2008 (UTC)). This is also useful for 'signing and dating' contributions to talk pages.
