sample topic(ta) This template is for applying categories within teaching approaches. E.g.

{{teachtag|sample category}}

produces this

sample category(ta)

and places the page in Category:Sample category which is linked from the "(ta)".

If you want to tag a word with a category, but cannot use the exact name of the category in the flow of the text, then you can supply a second argument:

{{teachtag|sample category|some sample category}}

produces this

some sample category(ta)
