Looking at the acceleration-time graph we see there is a minimum at A<sub>1</sub>, a maximum at A<sub>2</sub> and a zero at A<sub>z</sub>. These correspond to the inflections of the velocity at V<sub>1</sub> and V<sub>2</sub>, and the maximum at V<sub>m</sub>.
