This template is for applying categories within teaching approaches. E.g.
{{teachtag
|sample approach }} produces this
sample approach(ta)
and places the page in Category:Sample approach, and creates a link from the "(ta )", to "teaching approach /sample approach ".
If you want to tag a word with a category, but cannot use the exact name of the category in the flow of the text, then you can supply a second argument:
{{teachtag
|sample approach |some other way to refer to sample approach}} produces this
some other way to refer to sample approach(ta)
