Equally, however, this approach could be applied to any topic or subject in school. The use of video also encouraged {{tag|active learning}}, with the students developing their own skills through direct participation in the creation process. |

This activity is a cross curricula(i) activity, involving a collaborative(i) approach, giving student teachers the opportunity to work together whilst making digital media in the form of films. The activity furthers e-skills(i) and also helps to develop discussion relating to e-safety(i). The topic of location provided the stimulus for the videos. Equally, however, this approach could be applied to any topic or subject in school. The use of video also encouraged active learning(i), with the students developing their own skills through direct participation in the creation process.
