Signing into GeoGebra Tube

Go through GeoGebra tube, looking for useful material. We use one account:

Gopying materials

As you go thorugh GeoGebra tube, you see "make a copy" (top right), which copies an activity to our account, where we can modify it. So if you come across materials, click "make a copy". I've done this with one applet ("Girl in a mirror"),

Original applet

Here is the original applet:

Note the "make a copy" in the top right. Click it.

Copied applet

Here is the copy:

Note that it now has "edit" in the top right. Click "edit".

Editing the data

Most of the edit boxes are pretty simple - however, see GeoGebraOffline/approach for a number of key elements we want to add.

Title

  • My suggestion is that we add a mathematical descriptive element to the title if possible
  • E.g. this could be: Girl in a mirror - an exploration of triangles.
  • Make it as concrete as possible.

Information for Students

  • This is the task that students should do.
  • Most of the applets on GG Tube don't have much information. We should really add to this.

File settings

  • These can be left as they are.

Questions or tasks

Information for teachers

Language

  • Can be left, unless we have translated.

Age

  • Can probably be left.
  • Change if you think it's not suitable for the age given.

tags

We add our name as a tag, so we know who is working on what files.

  • Add your name here, e.g. I have added my name.

  • But if Elimboto also edits, he adds his name too.

Visibility and save

  • Finally save.
