This unit is aimed at those teachers who would like to give a more global feeling to their teaching. You will learn how to source scientific articles with a greater emphasis on science and technology beyond the Western world and experience how such articles can be incorporated into teaching within the National Curriculum. |Learning Objectives=In this unit we will look at:
* why the global dimension in science is so important;

  • what contributions have been made to science by ‘non-Western’ scientists;
  • how to deliver the curriculum so as to bring global science to life for students.
