Exploring real world statistics using the GeoGebra program
Lesson idea. Extensive teacher guidance to explore the statistics of Usain Bolt's Olympic performances since 2008. Uses the modelling program, GeoGebra.
Teaching approach. Using real world data to engage pupils in mathematical thinking(ta), language(ta) and reasoning(ta). This resource provides opportunities for group work or whole class exercises, with engaging questioning(ta). (edit)
