It's full of stars/teaching approach: Difference between revisions

This first session aims to train the {{teachtag|whole class}} to use a telescope and hopefully to provide an opportunity to engage in some {{teachtag|active learning}} by using one. The lesson includes some naked-eye observations and tells how modern technology helps scientists know where to look.  You can explore the {{teachtag|scientific method}} and {{teachtag|language}} at this point, using targeted {{teachtag|questioning}} / {{teachtag|differentiation}}.  Students may be able to engage in an {{teachtag|inquiry}} project based around this work, perhaps for {{teachtag|homework}}.
