== Create your own account ==
 
* Click the log in link at the top right of the screen (or click here: [[Special:UserLogin|Special:UserLogin]]).
* Click create new account
* Enter the required information.
** Choose your user name (typically "Firstname Lastname")
** Choose a password (nothing valuable, but be sure to remember it!)
** Enter your email correctly (important!)
** Enter your real name
 
Hit 'create account' and open your email. The wiki will email you a confirmation link, which you should click. You have now signed up with the wiki.

At the top right of the screen, you should now see a list of links, starting with your user name. Clicking your user name gives you an empty form field where you can enter some text.
 
Enter
* Your name
* Your affiliation
* The internet address of your institution, e.g. http://www.cam.ac.uk
Then press save. You have now created your first wiki entry on the RECOUP wiki!
