Developing questioning through Bloom's taxonomy

About. The resource comprises one 4 page DfES document (drawn from a larger document - see related resources). It first describes Bloom's Taxonomy - including how it relates to questioning. It then offers a table describing the taxonomy with 'links to thinking' and 'possible question stems'. A task asks teachers to link questions to levels of questioning, before another task suggests a planning exercise.

Pedagogical content. This resource discusses questioning(ta) and Bloom's taxonomy - which, at the higher levels, can be linked to higher order(ta) thinking skills and reasoning(ta). (edit)
