How do I question? Thinking about questioning techniques in the classroom

About. The resource comprises one 4 page DfES document (drawn from a larger document - see related resources). It explores some alternative strategies to direct questioning, followed by some classroom tactics for effective questioning. It finishes with a grid to support teachers testing out techniques in a classroom (you may wish to adapt this/use it as a prompt for a less formal record).
