Theory, Teacher Education Resources, and Practical Classroom Exemplars

Each of the Pedagogy chapters and the final chapter on technology contains three key sections

  1. An introduction to the theory and research, written for practitioners
  2. A set of Teacher Education resources to engage practitioners in the Pedagogic area, for use in Professional Development settings
  3. A set of Classroom Exemplars, to offer some examples of the pedagogic approach in a classroom context. These could be used as stand alone lessons, or as starting points for professional development exercises.

Anticipated Use

We anticipate the resources being used in a variety of professional development settings, to support the development of high quality interactive pedagogy. Where possible we have indicated ways to incorporate technology, and the final chapter discusses this in some more detail. If any resources are particularly useful, or you have 'remixed' (edited/combined) resources, please do let us know or upload your new resources onto the Wiki for all to use (and perhaps for future versions of the book).
